For importers and regional distributors

A distributor order is many styles, one brief: how this floor handles it

You buy to resell, so the questions are different from a brand’s: how many styles one order can carry, how the cartons are split for your own customers, what paperwork travels with the container, and what a repeat order is priced and made against. This page answers those four, in the order a distributor usually asks them.

The table underneath is the same sheet our quotations are built on: published lines are printed on this site, quoted lines change with your specification and are settled on the proforma invoice.

What the floor holds for a distributor brief

Six lines that decide whether a container works

Each card names one decision, what the floor holds for it, and the page on this site where the claim is already published.

One brief can cover a mixed container

Sport, yoga, men’s, children’s, compression and ballet are knitted in the same building on the same export desk, so a mixed-SKU order is one production plan and one set of documents instead of six suppliers and six shipments.

Where it applies: Mixed-SKU container orders, seasonal range builds.

You decide: How many styles the first order carries and which one leads the range.

Evidence: the six categories on the products page — see the specification sheet for this style.

The minimum is counted per style, not per order

The bulk floor is 1,000 pairs per style. A distributor order is usually six to ten styles, so the number that matters is the per-style figure, not the container total — it is printed on the quote page and on every style page here.

Where it applies: Distributor programmes, catalogue ranges.

You decide: Range width against per-style depth: five deep styles and ten shallow ones are different plans.

Evidence: the MOQ line on this site — see the specification sheet for this style.

Cartons are set for redistribution, not just for shipping

Pairs per inner box, pairs per carton and the carton dimensions are confirmed style by style on the proforma invoice, together with the carton marking. If your customers buy in inner boxes, that split is a specification line, not an afterthought at the loading bay.

Where it applies: DC receiving, pallet builds, customer-level case packs.

You decide: The case pack and the marking each carton carries.

Evidence: the packing field of a style sheet — see the specification sheet for this style.

Published figures, and the ones your quotation settles

A distributor reads a supplier two ways: what is printed and verifiable, and what the supplier will commit to in writing. This table separates the two.

Buying terms for an importer or distributor brief. Published lines are printed on this site; quoted lines are settled on your proforma invoice.

Order size
1,000 pairs per style

Bulk lead time

The same split, as a list a buyer can scan in ten seconds: the left column is on this site before you ask, the right column only ever arrives with your quotation.

  • 1,000 pairs per style. The bulk floor, counted per style, printed on the quote page and on every style page.
  • Sample in 3–5 days. One charged physical sample per style after brief and artwork, credited against your first bulk order, courier on you.
  • Bulk lead time 20–30 days. Counted from deposit received and sample approved, style by style.
  • Transit 25–40 days sea, 5–10 days air, 3–7 days express. Published as a window per leg, before you book anything.
  • Price. No price list is printed anywhere on this site; the binding figure sits on the proforma invoice.
  • Case pack and carton marking. Pairs per inner box, pairs per carton, carton dimensions and the label your customers or your DC want.
  • Colour count and colour split. Set from your artwork and from how the range divides across styles.
  • Document set. Which certificate copies and which certificate of origin your market’s file needs, and any exclusivity wording.

PublishedBulk lead time Typically 20–30 days after deposit received and sample approved. Counted from deposit and approval, style by style. Quote page and buyer FAQ.

Two lines are deliberately thin here and worth pushing on: the case pack and the certificate set. Both are real, both are decided per order, and both are the lines that cost time when they are guessed instead of specified.

Your customers’ labels, not our name

Production is ODM: the sock is knitted to the sample you approved and carries your brand or your customers’ brand, never ours. The branding decision is which mark goes on the sock and which goes on the header card.

Where it applies: Own-label distribution, private-brand programmes.

You decide: Cuff mark, body placement and the packaging mark.

Evidence: a style specified as ODM on this site — see the specification sheet for this style.

Documents travel with the shipment

The invoice, the packing list and a certificate of origin where the destination asks for one are issued with the shipment. Certificates held by the factory entity are published with their numbers and dates on the certificates page, so your compliance desk can check them without an email.

Where it applies: Customs entry, tender documents, retailer onboarding.

You decide: Which documents and which certificate copies your market needs in the file.

Evidence: the certificates page on this site — see the specification sheet for this style.

A repeat order runs on the locked sheet

Construction, yarn, colour and the approved sample are fixed by the first production run, and colour is bought to a dye lot locked per order. A reorder is a repeat against that sheet, which is what makes a distributor programme predictable across seasons.

Where it applies: Annual programmes, scheduled call-offs.

You decide: Whether the repeat is a straight run or carries a colourway change.

Evidence: a specification sheet on this site — see the specification sheet for this style.

Styles from the catalog for this buyer

Both are current listings on this floor, and both are quoted on the terms in the table above. Each card opens the style’s own page.

What this page does not promise

What a distributor should not assume from this page

Publishing the limit is better for both sides than discovering it after the deposit.

  • No price list. Costing follows your specification and quantity onto the proforma invoice.
  • No exclusivity clause printed here. If territory is part of your model, put it in the brief and the reply says what can and cannot be signed.
  • No buyer names. Distribution customers are not ours to publish as references.
  • No instant yes on a construction. Work outside what this floor holds is refused rather than passed on.
  • No OEKO-TEX or GRS file under our name. Say so in the brief and the reply is specific about it.
  • No medical-device registration. Compression here is a 20–30 mmHg sock, not a medical device.
The three questions distributors ask first

Range width, cartons, and paperwork

How many styles can one order carry?

As many as you can meet the per-style minimum on: the bulk floor is 1,000 pairs per style, and it is counted style by style rather than on the order total. A ten-style range is ten production runs on one delivery plan.

Can the cartons be split for my own customers?

Yes, as a specification line: pairs per inner box, pairs per carton, carton dimensions and marking are confirmed per style on the proforma invoice. Tell us how your customers buy — inner box, case or pallet — and the packing is set from that.

Which documents come with the shipment?

Invoice and packing list as standard, plus a certificate of origin where the destination asks for one. The certificates held by the factory entity are published with their numbers and dates on the certificates page, so they can be checked before the order is placed.
