Children's sock compliance
Children's socks are one of the six categories we knit — see the children's entry on the category page. Briefs on that line work to the CPSIA frame, and the applicable items are confirmed on your quotation. Here they are in one place, each with its official source and the date we last checked it.
What applies to children's socks
- Phthalates limited to ≤0.1% for each of the eight listed phthalates (16 CFR Part 1307, ecfr.gov; checked 2026-10-12).
- Total lead limits under CPSIA §101 / 15 U.S.C. §1278a (govinfo.gov; checked 2026-10-12).
- A Children's Product Certificate (CPC) travels with the goods per CPSIA §14 and 16 CFR Part 1110 (ecfr.gov; checked 2026-10-12).
- California Prop 65 wording provided on request (oehha.ca.gov; checked 2026-10-12).
Each line names the official source it comes from, and every one of them was last checked on 2026-10-12. All four source links open the regulator’s own page in a new tab, so the citation is one click away and your place on this page is not lost.
Our own practice on the same four items, stated here rather than left to the regulator: the applicable item is confirmed on your quotation instead of being assumed from a general page, a Children’s Product Certificate travels with the goods, and Prop 65 wording is provided on request so it can be attached to the shipment that needs it.
How this reaches your order
Children's-sock briefs work to the CPSIA frame, and the applicable items are confirmed on your quotation rather than assumed from a general page. A Children's Product Certificate travels with the goods. Prop 65 wording is provided on request, so it can be attached to the shipment that needs it.
Certificates held by the factory — BSCI and SEDEX, with their numbers, holders and dates — are on the certificate table, and the scans themselves sit on the customer document desk. Those are social-audit certificates, a different thing from the children's-product rules above; both are shown as text so your team can read and quote them.
The paper that travels with the order
A compliance rule is only worth what the file behind it is worth, so here is the paper a children’s order generates, and how each piece reaches you:
- Children’s Product Certificate — issued against the styles on your order, and travelling with the goods.
- Prop 65 wording — provided on request, so it can be attached to the shipment that needs it.
- BSCI and SEDEX audit scans — numbers, holders and dates on the certificate table, with the scans themselves posted on the customer document desk.
- Quality and inspection report — the report for your run, sent against your order number.
Ask the desk for any of these by name and the current version comes back within one working day. The scans and the report are sent as files rather than reproduced here as pictures, so what your compliance team keeps on file is the document itself, at full resolution, instead of a screenshot of it.
Where the children's line sits
Children's socks are an entry on the category page rather than a separate product tree — the same six categories are ways into one enquiry. Tell us the children's styles you sell; end use and size run come first, then the anti-slip or grip treatment your market asks for.
- Children's category entry — the brief and what settles as filters.
- Breathable 100% polyester knitted ODM anti-slip — the children's style page, with its specification sheet in text.
- Buyer FAQ — materials, customisation and what a brief needs.
