BSCI: the number, the holder, the dates, and where to check them yourself
This floor is audited under amfori BSCI, number 26-0419962, held by the factory entity and valid until 14 August 2027. The number is worth nothing without the holder and the dates beside it, so all three are printed here as they appear on the document.

1. The record, as printed
Numbers and dates on this site are transcribed from the documents, not summarised. This is the BSCI row of that table, value by value:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Scheme | BSCI (amfori social audit · certificate) |
| Number | 26-0419962 |
| amfori code | amfori 156-056790-000 / site -001 |
| Version | amfori Social Audit (Full Monitoring) |
| Dates | audited 7 Aug 2026, valid until 14 Aug 2027 (LRQA, semi-announced) |
| Holder | Zhuji Qingsheng Knitting Co.,Ltd. |
| Markets it covers | Not market-specific — a buyer-requested social-compliance audit, accepted for any destination market including North America and the EU |
| Look it up at | amfori.org |
Semi-announced is part of the record, not a footnote: the floor knows the audit window but not the day.
2. Who holds it, and who does not
Both audit documents are site-level social audits of the Zhuji factory, held by our knitting company, Zhuji Qingsheng Knitting Co.,Ltd. Its name and address appear on each document.
A certificate number only helps if the holder matches the entity on your invoice. QS Knitting Co.,Ltd, Baoshan District, Shanghai, is the export and contracting entity and is named on your quotation and proforma invoice; Zhuji Qingsheng Knitting Co.,Ltd. is the factory entity and holds the audits. Ask for both names on a proforma invoice before you pay a deposit.
The site would rather print that split than let your compliance team discover it.
3. What the audit covers, and what it does not
BSCI is the audit framework; the report is a third-party examination of the factory itself — working conditions, safety, management systems. It is a social audit, not a product test, and it is not a certificate for the goods in your carton.
- It covers the audited site, in Datang, Zhuji — knitting, toe linking, boarding, inspection and packing in one building.
- It does not cover the export desk in Shanghai, and the desk does not claim it.
- It does not certify a material or a pair of socks.
- An audit report is a snapshot, not a guarantee of future performance.
The other scheme on this floor is SEDEX (SMETA). The two are asked for together and neither replaces the other.
4. How to check it without our help
Certificate validity should always be checked with the issuing body via the links given, and the site says so on the page that carries the table. The look-up route for this one is amfori.org.
For the factory behind the number there are two more public checks: US customs bills of lading are public and indexed by ImportYeti, and the two entity names can be put on a proforma invoice before a deposit moves.
None of this proves the socks you receive will match your sample. Only a sample approval, a factory visit, a live video walkthrough, or a third-party inspection does that.
The report as a document, with its file size and its scope: audit report.
Ask for the BSCI file, or a live walk of the floor
The certificate goes out as a PDF so your team reads the source document rather than a summary. A walkthrough is booked the same way: two time windows, and the camera goes where you point it.
