Certification: three different papers, and the one rule that governs all of them
Certification is one word covering three different things on this site: a social audit of the factory, a product-compliance rule for the goods, and the document set that travels with an order. Confusing them is the most common mistake in a compliance email.

1. Three papers, one word
A certification email that asks for “your certificates” can mean three unrelated documents. The site keeps them apart on purpose, and this is the split:
| What it certifies | The papers here | Whose it is |
|---|---|---|
| The factory and how it is run | BSCI 26-0419962 · SEDEX (SMETA) ZAA600215648 | Zhuji Qingsheng Knitting Co.,Ltd., the factory entity |
| The product and its rules | CPSIA frame for children’s socks, a Children’s Product Certificate, Prop 65 wording on request | Issued against the styles on your order |
| The shipment | Certificate of origin, quality and inspection report, packing list | Issued or sent against your order number |
The distinction that catches buyers out: the two social audits are not product certifications. They are third-party examinations of the factory itself — working conditions, safety, management systems — and the site says so rather than letting a badge do the talking.
2. The one rule
Every certificate number on this site is read off the document itself, and printed as text rather than only inside an image. The holder is named next to every number, because a certificate number only helps if the holder matches the entity on your invoice.
- We do not print a certificate number we have not read off the document itself.
- We print the dates on every certificate, so you can check them yourself.
- We do not present a supplier’s certificate as ours.
- We do not put the numbers only inside an image. They are text on this site.
- If a column needs a value we have not read off the document yet, the cell says pending rather than a version we cannot point to.
Two dates follow from that rule rather than from a marketing decision: BSCI 26-0419962 is valid until 14 August 2027, and the SEDEX (SMETA) audit ZAA600215648 was carried out 12–13 August 2026.
3. What we hold, and what we do not
The floor holds two site-level social audits, both in the name of Zhuji Qingsheng Knitting Co.,Ltd. The export and contracting entity, QS Knitting Co.,Ltd, holds neither — it is the name on your quotation and proforma invoice.
One scheme this site is asked about is not held at all: no OEKO-TEX file under our name. If your market requires one, say so in the brief. The one place the standard is named on this site is the grip-dot question on the silicone-sole styles, and that page says plainly which of the two things it is.
- Held: amfori BSCI social audit, number 26-0419962
- Held: SEDEX (SMETA) 4-Pillar audit, ZAA600215648
- Not held: OEKO-TEX, GRS or a medical-device file
- Issued per order: certificate of origin, inspection report, packing list
4. How to ask for the file you need
Two of the five customer documents need no request: the BSCI and SEDEX scans are posted as PDFs and stay posted while they are current. The other three are issued or sent against your order number.
What to have ready: the order number and, where you have one, the proforma invoice number. Email is not the only door — the same details can go to the desk on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form, and all three routes reach the same export desk.
The numbers, holders and dates in one table: certifications. The documents and the version rule: customer document desk. The children’s-product rules: children’s sock compliance.
Name the file, and the current version comes back
Say which certification you need, and whether your market requires one we do not hold. The answer is specific rather than a badge: the desk confirms what we can and cannot put behind your order.
