Socks for India
India is not named in our published market list. The thing that most often goes wrong between two sizing systems is not price, though, it is the size grid — so this page puts the published sizing method in front of the market claim that is absent.
The sample before the run. A size grid is settled on a sample, not on a price list. What is published here is how that grid is set — foot length against size label — and why the floor knits to yours instead of a generic run.
Four steps that settle a size grid
All four are published on the site already. They are gathered here because two sizing systems meeting is where most first orders lose their first week.
The Indian gap, named
One absence and three things that are published in its place. The absence is stated first because it is the one a purchasing file will notice.
India is not in our market list
Our published list is North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Eastern Asia. India is not named, so there is no Indian market claim on this site to check.
The sizing method is published
Size reference is foot length against size label, and our size charts print the EU and US scales beside the centimetre band as a mapping onto it. That method does not depend on the destination.
The sample is the grid
The sample is knitted to the grid you send, not to a generic run. A new fibre or a changed grid adds a sample round, and that round runs in the same 3–5 day window.
What is not published
No Indian customer names, no Indian warehouse, no market share, and no claim about Indian duties. Only the sizing and specification method crosses over usefully.
From a size grid to a packed carton
Five stages, each with the published figure. The size grid question is settled at stage two; everything after it is arithmetic and paperwork.
| Stage | What is settled | The published figure | Where it is published |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brief | Style, quantity, destination, size grid | Reply within one working day | Quote |
| Size grid | Foot length against size label | Sample knitted to your grid | Sock size charts |
| Sample | The parameters checked at the end of the run | 3–5 days after brief and artwork | Sample policy |
| Bulk | The run, on the approved grid | 20–30 days after deposit and approved sample | Wholesale terms |
| Packing | Pairs per carton, carton markings | 100 pairs to a carton in our own arithmetic | Packaging options |

Send the size grid with the brief
A brief that carries the size grid saves a sample round. Send the band or the grid your range sells on, the quantity per style, and the destination, and the reply can price against the grid rather than around it.

- 1,000 pairs per styleThe bulk minimum, counted per style rather than on the order total.
- 3–5 daysSampling, after the brief and the artwork are confirmed.
- 20–30 daysBulk, after the deposit is received and the sample is approved.
