Socks for Turkey

Turkey is not named in our published market list, and this site makes no Turkish market claim. What it does publish in full is the document set that every export order travels on, which is the part a buyer in any destination can use before the first email.

Sock samples filed on showroom shelving, ready for an export order

The samples, and the papers beside them. A destination we do not name still gets the same four documents and the same four trade terms. That is what this page can put behind a Turkish enquiry, and it is more than a paragraph about ambition would be worth.

Four documents, and which one binds

If you are opening a supplier file for a destination we do not name, these four are the ones to ask for. Only one of them governs a sale, and it is rarely the one people mean.

The costing reply
The costing reply What to check: it is an invitation to proceed, not a binding offer. It carries a reference range, the term it sits on, and the minimum restated for your style count.
The proforma invoice
The proforma invoice What to check: this is the one that binds price, term, quantity and lead time, against the specification you confirmed. Everything before it is a range.
The packing list
The packing list What to check: per style, per carton, with the markings you supply. The current template is v2026-10 and you can read it before the order exists.
The certificate of origin
The certificate of origin What to check: added where the destination asks for one. Whether Turkey’s entry needs it is your broker’s answer; the document exists on request.

The Turkish gap, named

Four absences, written as absences. A buyer comparing suppliers can use this list as a question to put to the next one.

Turkey is not in our market list

Our published list is North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Eastern Asia. Turkey is not named, so an order to Turkey is quoted as an order to a destination, not as a market we serve.

No Turkish reference

No named Turkish customer, no Turkish warehouse, no consignment stock, no share of the Turkish market. None of those exist in our published material.

No duty or tariff statement

Duty treatment is confirmed on your quotation against the term you choose. What a destination charges is not something a supplier page can publish honestly, so this one does not.

What a Turkish buyer can verify without asking

Two entity names, one address, two audit numbers with dates and holders, and the four documents above. That is the whole verifiable set, and it is all on this site.

The document set, in the order it arrives

Five steps from enquiry to claim. Each document below is one a buyer receives in the ordinary course of an order, whatever the destination on it.

The export document set. The proforma invoice is the only one that binds.

Start with the destination

Send the destination, and ask what it wants

If your destination is one we do not name, say so in the brief. The reply cannot claim a market we do not serve, but it can state the term, the transit window and the document set, which is what the order will actually run on.

  • 1,000 pairs per styleThe bulk minimum, counted per style rather than on the order total.
