No minimum order: this site does not offer one, and here is what it offers instead
Searches for “no minimum order” run into a floor here rather than past it. The minimum is 1,000 pairs per style, and this page states that plainly, then sets out the three routes a buyer under the floor can actually take.
- No such offerPublished nowhere on this site
- 1,000 pairsPer style — the floor that exists
- Per enquiryWhere a lower quantity is settled
- Sample routeThe standing alternative below the minimum
1. The offer that does not exist
This site does not advertise a no-minimum-order programme. The figure it publishes is 1,000 pairs per style, and it publishes it on the wholesale terms page as a clause rather than as a footnote.
That is a deliberate choice about how the site is written: a supplier page that says “no minimum” and then quotes a minimum in the first reply wastes a buyer’s week. The floor is on the terms page, in the FAQ, on the glossary entry and on every quotation that comes back.
What the site does say is that the minimum is a starting point for negotiation, not a fixed floor. Those two sentences are not in contradiction: one is about whether a number can move, the other is about whether there is no number at all.
2. Why the floor is there
The 1,000-pair minimum is what lets a factory of our size knit, link, board and pack your order on its own floor without batching you into somebody else’s run. That is the reason the number exists, and it is the reason a “no minimum” promise would be a promise about somebody else’s floor.
The machine time is the thing being bought. One run at 1,000 pairs and one run at 200 pairs take the same setup; only one of them pays for it.
3. The three routes under it
| You want | The route | What it costs |
|---|---|---|
| A lower quantity of a real style | Put the number in the brief; it is settled per enquiry on the construction | Quoted with your reference range |
| One physical sock, not a run | The sample route: sampling is charged per style | Fee quoted with your quotation, credited against the first bulk order; you cover the courier freight |
| To start, then scale | Start at the minimum, repeat once the style sells | The repeat drops the sample round and starts its clock at the deposit |
None of the three is a workaround dressed up as policy. The first is a question with a real answer, the second is a product in its own right, and the third is how most first orders are actually shaped.
4. What this page will not do
- It will not quote a price for a quantity the floor cannot run.
- It will not promise that a lower quantity is workable before the construction is known.
- It will not print a “no minimum” line and negotiate it later.
If a lower quantity is what your market needs, say the number in the brief. Where a run below the minimum is not workable, the sample route is the standing alternative, and the reply says which of the two applies to your style.
The clause: minimum order. The count basis: MOQ. The fee and the clock: sampling.
