Socks for the US market
The United States is named in our published market list, and it is the one destination on this site with a written compliance frame: for children’s socks it is the CPSIA children’s product rules, the Children’s Product Certificate that travels with the goods, and the Proposition 65 wording where it applies.
The showroom, where a US-bound range is signed off. What travels to the United States is the same sock, the same cartons and a document set that starts with the invoice and the packing list — plus, for children’s goods, a compliance frame that has its own page on this site.
Four things that change when the destination is the United States
Not the sock, and not the floor. These four stop being optional the moment a US buyer, a US DC or a US customs broker is on the other end.
What we publish for the US, and what we refuse to add
A market page is easy to fill with confidence and impossible to check. These four are the parts that can be checked, and the last two are the parts that cannot.
The children’s product frame
For the US market, children’s socks sit under the children’s product rules: limits on lead and on phthalates, the Children’s Product Certificate that travels with the goods, and the Proposition 65 wording where it applies. Written out on children’s sock compliance.
The statutory citations
Total lead limits under CPSIA §101 / 15 U.S.C., cited on the same page. The citation is published so a compliance desk can check the section rather than take a summary on trust.
No US warehouse, no US entity
We hold no inventory in the United States and there is no US entity on any of our documents. An order ships from Zhuji under a term you choose, and the stock problem is yours from the moment the term says it is.
No named US customers
We do not publish buyer names, US or otherwise. A supplier who lists their US accounts is telling you what they will do with yours.
How a US-bound order is documented
Five lines, from the enquiry to the claim window. The United States changes nothing structural here; it adds the compliance file and it makes the size scale explicit.
| Stage | What we publish | What the US destination adds | Where it is published |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brief and sizing | Send the band you sell, in US or EU sizes | The sample is knitted to that grid, not a generic run | Sock size charts |
| Sample | Typically 3–5 days after brief and artwork | For children’s styles, the compliance file is settled alongside it | Sample policy |
| Trade term | EXW, FOB, DDP or DAP, Incoterms® 2020 | Duty treatment is confirmed on your quotation | Wholesale terms |
| Documents | Invoice and packing list, plus a certificate of origin where required | Your broker decides what else the entry needs | Document desk |
| Claims | In writing within 30 days of the goods arriving | Nothing — the window is the same | Returns and after-sales |
